Each passing week, seemingly bolder!
Not quite so naive
As one might well believe;

In her own mind, at least, all grown up;
Boys, sex, booze, got it pretty sewn up.
Sneaking out late at night,
Folks don’t know. Or they might.
Any case though, she’ll never own up.

He’d be ostracised, shamed and disowned.
So they must be discreet,
Pleasure all the more sweet
When the time comes, for being postponed.
